I have never felt compelled to write a review for job process prior to my experience interviewing with Handshake AI. I have worked for 10 years at MBB firms, and large publically traded tech companies.
I was rerouted to a different role than listed and initially screened for. When I agreed to be considered for the role I found a time. My interviewer texted me 90 seconds before the interview was set to start the following week to tell me it was actually full. No sorry, no acknowledgment of the experience as a candidate, and no consideration for the time taken to prepare. For a company that emphasizes its engagement with talent and is built on creating positive outcomes for employers and candidates, this was shockingly unprofessional. I came away thinking very poorly of management.

Case Interview
Recruiter screening and behavioral were very standard. Tell me about your time in a project, tell me about a time when something went wrong, etc. Just read anything about behavioral interviews and you’ll do well. The case was excel. Way easier than I thought it would be.

Brief interview process. Included a behavioral interview and then a data case, live with an interviewer. Data case was not very difficult, but was tougher since you have to explain your thought process live.
