The interviewer was not very engaging or friendly. It was a little intimidating. But they did seem interested when I showed them some of my work. But the rest of the staff was very friendly.
It was part of the school event we have. The interview is not really formal and we only focus on the portfolio. there is no follow up question in this interview.

received an invitation for interview in a month after I applied for this position. I think for STL this year they only did one time interview, but for other office they did twice.

They started by asking you to introduced yourself, why you are interested in architecture and choose to apply to HOK. They also ask me to show a project that I like and i project I think needs to improve.

walked through a few of my favorite portfolio projects, followed by questions they had about each. It was very conversational and casual- more like speaking about projects with a friend or professor
