A really bad company with ignorant and disrespectful people. I made it clear on my CV that I wouldn’t accept interviews in a certain format – which they agreed to. When it came time for the interview, they tried to convince me to go ahead with that same format I wasn’t willing to accept. When I stood my ground and remained firm in my position, they became aggressive and very disrespectful. This company comes from a country where there is a large number of candidates per job opening – which leads them to treat candidates disrespectfully, expecting them to be submissive little puppies if they want an opportunity. But the thing is, we are in the UK, and things don’t work like that here. Thankfully, we don’t have to fear losing our jobs or feel forced to accept anything just for the sake of an opportunity. They urgently need to change their mentality if they want excellent and highly qualified people.
