Home manager and kitchen assistant interviewed. The interview lasted about an hour with 26 questions. I have rated it difficult due to lasting longer than anticipated and many questions popping up that I wasn't prepared for. Mainly situation based .. how do you motivate people, your positive and negatives at work and home, times when your day went good or bad and how you learned or dealt with them, dealing with difficult people, confidence in cooking certain meals, assessing team player abilities, what you know about the company and home, what can you bring to the company, what can you improve on, assessing if will engage with residents. Although I have rated as difficult, I was made to feel welcome and as I had voiced my nerves (which is natural) the interviewers were encouraging.
