J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gusto

The interview with the recruiter was more like an interrogation than a conversation. She was dead silent most of the time only to ask a few questions from the hiring manager and to wrap up the interview with the general authorization and compensation questions. She didn't leave me any time for questions but at least pretended to be willing to hop on another call to do that if needed.
Their interview process seem to be super tedious, 1st step a meeting with the hiring manager, then the 2nd is meeting 6 more people for 45 min to 1 hr each. I don't question this approach but the recruiter described the 2nd step as "it's actually one more step and that's it". That's it doesn't mean a full day of interviews.
The recruiter was generally out of touch with very discriminate remarks in the likes of "when you take taxes out, the money it'd take me to write the email about it costs more", "it's pocket money to buy coffee with" when she was describing a signup bonus in the amount of $5-10k. The typical Bay area smugness unfortunately especially given this amount is probably the monthly salary of the recruiter.

Question 1
What payment licenses do you have experience with?
I had a couple touchpoints with this company and can confidently say that the Gusto recruiting team is the most low-IQ and disorganized team I've ever had to work with in my 10+ years in the industry. Good luck.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gusto en sept. 2024

The interview process was largely good. There was good communication between me and the recruiter. There seemed to be some internal changes, but I was always kept up to date. They were also flexible in scheduling my interviews, given there were probably around 10 hours of interviews.
There were a lot of interviews, which felt thorough, but I don't mind it necessarily because it gives them data to assess me but also for me to assess Gusto. I do think though that 6 hours of a final round interview was a lot, especially to do online.
