Initially, I had a half hour phone interview which was informal and focused on getting to know me really as a person and what stage of the job seeking process I was in. Afterward, an in-person interview was scheduled. The in-person is a series of four interviews all back to back. Each interview serves a different purpose: role info, technical, value-alignment, and thought process. The thought process interview can be a bit of a wildcard although it is meant for the interviewee to demonstrate how they tackle problems whether they be obscure or realistic.
