Before I got a phone interview , I had to email the hr specialist twice. I thought that they looked at my resume and deemed that they had better candidates with internships with which I did not for this role, but I was persistent and convinced them that I was going to be of great value to them. Then I got the phone interview after a couple days and they set up an in person interview with the department I will be working with.
