This was the most unprofessional job interview I've ever had. Please do not apply for any role in this company. They lack the most basic communication skills that every recruiting process needs and deserves. I'm happy that I won't work for them. I applied online. They invited me for a phone interview in a week. After the phone interview with the recruiter, they sent me a long data science assessment and asked me to submit it within a week and not to spend more than an hour on the problems. There were five SQL questions, one data analysis question, and one data visualization question. I was asked to use either Python or R for these two questions. It took me two and a half hours to answer all the questions. After I submitted the project, the recruiter never confirmed that she received my email and my submission files. Very rude and disrespectful. I never heard back from them. I waited a week and then sent a follow-up email to the recruiter to see if she had any updates on my application. I am yet to hear back from her! Interviewing them was a complete waste of my time and resources. Please do not apply for any role in this company, or you'll be ghosted.

30 minutes with recruiter, then a ~2 hour take home test. If you do well on the take home test, you speak for 30 mins with the Data Scientist the next week. There is currently only one Data Scientist and lots of applications. I received a rejection email this morning stating that I would receive no individual feedback. I am assuming they filled the role(s). I think they wanted a data engineer or a data analyst for this role; it felt like it was a negative for me to have python and machine learning experience. Upsell your ETL and analyst abilities.
