I interviewed for an entry level report analyst (a glorified data entry job). After applying online and submitting my resume, I got called in for an interview. I was asked the basic questions (describe yourself in 10 minutes, etc). plus I had to take a test on SQL syntax. I did really well, and they called me in for a second interview (somewhat unnecessary for an entry level job). I was competing against one other candidate. This lasted for two hours, and consisted of me interviewing separately with the IT department (my peers), the IT department manager (my potential boss), and the human resources people. I got drilled on lots of questions, including random statistics questions "how would you describe the process of normalizing data, what's a student t-test, etc) that was irrelevant to the position. I did answer those well though, and everyone seemed impressed with my qualifications and background (I just recently graduated college but had more than the skills they were asking for). After all of this, I come to find out they decide at the last minute to change the job description and neither one of us got hired (or considered for the new job description). Very unprofessional, a waste of my and the other candidates time, not to mention the >$100 I had to spend in gas for travel to the interviews. Don't apply to this company they are a joke.
