Application I applied through the Ground News website and also had an employee referral. Interview (around June-July 2025) The interview process was well-structured and moved at a good pace. My first conversation was with the recruiter, where I was asked basic behavioral questions and some questions about Ground News’ values. After that, I completed a technical interview. Next, I had a conversation with a senior engineer about my background. The final stage was an interview with the founder (who is also CTO), and shortly after, I received a verbal offer. Throughout the entire process, the recruiter kept me well-informed and consistently followed up after each stage, which I really appreciated. The interviewers were all very friendly. Values alignment was emphasized from the very beginning, and it was clear that Ground News truly looks for candidates who connect with its mission and vision. I would highly recommend taking the time to read about the company’s mission and values before interviewing.
