Initially, Melissa Lobel from Greenhouse actually reached out to me via LinkedIn regarding a possible position at the company as an IT Engineer. At first I felt inclined to pursue with the interview process but I unfortunately declined to continue interviewing due to the initial impression that it was a lateral move on my end. I was looking for an opportunity to grow and expand my skillset in the field of automation and system administration.
While exploring options, I saw that Greenhouse opened a new position for a Systems Engineer that I thought was a better fit for my goals. I immediately applied and reached back out to Melissa, who was incredibly understanding and helpful with starting up the interview process with me without missing a beat. Melissa was very thorough with providing me details with the interview process.
The interview composed of the initial recruiter call, a second call with the immediate manager for the role, then a take home assessment, and finally a three hour long interview meeting several team members and employees, including presenting my take home assessment.
Within a two days Melissa was able to come back and bring me the news that I was considered for the position and was given an offer! It was definitely great to have Melissa as my recruiter.
