They contacted me through Bright.com and a recruiter followed up. I was interviewed twice on the phone; the first one was a simple orientation, while the second involved a Sr. engineer who required me to code and debug on the fly.
After the phone interview I was flown to their node in the Dominican Republic and had to implement their solutions on-site at the Port. I was told, all of their interviews are done in the field, under stress and through team peer reviews. At the end of the day, after I returned to the hotel, I was told to go to the Hotel Spa and was offered a position by the regional Manager, while we sat in our bathing suits on the steam room. I was told to take it or leave it. I immediately took it because the position required me to sacrifice and work in Brazil for the upcoming World Cup and Olympics logistics, who could say no?
