A bit lengthy however I feel this is done to truly understand how you work and if you will get along well with the current staff. There is a lot of remote work so they really want to do their homework on you before hiring.

First w/ HR - basic questions, confirming resume and app input information is correct
Second w/ Department lead - more experience-based
Third (I didn't make it this far) - but I understand it's with the team
