I applied for a role at Goodway after seeing their active presence on LinkedIn and also seeing their postings on several job pages I had been scouting. Following my application, I received an email approximately one week later with an invitation for a phone screen. The phone screen was very straightforward and just what you would expect. I spoke about my experience, the type of position I was looking for, etc. I was then invited to participate in a few online assessments. They were not difficult and I believe I spent one to two hours completing them all. One of them was an "on the job" type test to measure my skills in basic office platforms as well as my problem solving abilities that were essential to the role I was applying for. The others were personality profiling and general assessments of my qualifications. A few weeks after my phone screen and assessments were complete, I received an invitation for an interview. The interview was with two people and I would describe the questions as behavioral interview questions (aka "Tell me about a time when..."). Approximately two weeks later I received an invitation for a second interview with one manager and it was similar in format to the previous interview. All interviews were over the phone and without video. It did feel strange to interview for the position in my pajamas, but I felt less stressed about interviewing because of it, so I feel that I put my best self out there via phone and through my answers. They asked me quite a few questions about my ability to handle working from home, which is part of the company culture. Within the next three weeks after my last interview, the recruiter who had originally contacted me was following up to check my references. My references were emailed a questionnaire about me. I submitted five individuals and I heard from three of them that they were contacted. A few days after my references were contacted, I received a call with an offer for the job.
