I applied online. They just randomly called me to set up an interview. I set an interview date and time. Two hours before the interview the texted and called me to see if I could come in 1 hour earlier. I did. I was taken back by the interview because it was done in a chair in front of a group of about 10 people. I was told they do interviews differently, with the whole team. The interviewer and the rest of the team asked detailed questions about my experience.
The position advertised was for a specialist but I was advised at the interview that it was to head up their marketing department and not just for their moving website but also for multiple other verticals they were involved in. The interview was about 15 minutes, likely because I didn't have the details of every skill in a whole marketing team including web development. The head person of staff came across as controlling and put off by my lack of knowedge in every aspect of marketing (and I know a lot). The job was definitely for more than a Digital Marketing Specialist position and was frankly the oddest interview I have ever been invited to.
