      Rdv RH puis manager. Pas de questions piège, très bon ressenti. Entreprise jeune et dynamique parfaite pour une première expérience. Entretien basé sur un échange plus que sur les traditionnelles questions "qualité/défaut" qui ne mènent à rien.

      Unfortunately, my experience was poor since I was discriminated against because of my age. Due to family issues, I did not receive my diploma until I was 30 years old and until then, I worked in menial positions that I did not consider valuable enough to mention in my resume. As a result, my age was undefined. I submitted my CV online and received a call the next day. The conversation went well, and the HR person appeared pleased about my qualifications and expertise. After that, I had an online interview with Human Resources. I could tell something wasn't right from the start. She didn't ask for my age directly, but the inquiries were more about determining my age than learning about my experience and skills. "When did you begin your undergraduate studies?" was a more obvious inquiry. I've never been asked this question in an interview before. In any case, it was obvious that she didn't want me there. I didn't get an offer and forgot about it. However, three months later, I ran across an old, younger, colleague currently employed at GoStudent. I told him that I had applied and had an interview, but that I had been unsuccessful. He replied that I shouldn't take it personally because, due to my age, I'd never be able to get in. He told me that the company exclusively employs employees between the ages of 26 and 32.

It is surprising to us, that one of our employees would state that we exclusively employ people in a certain age range. At GoStudent we hire and employ people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. Our recruiters emphasize cultural fit when hiring for all positions at GoStudent, but since we employ many people above the age of 32, as well as below the age of 26, we can clearly distance ourselves from this allegation.
