I interviewed for a Management position in Arlington, TX and was not very impressed by their interviewing process or job ads. To start with, they place a lot of ads on Craigslist, with various job titles, salaries, and job descriptions, which sent up a yellow flag right from the start. Some of the ads don't even show the name of the company. There were lots of people who were applying there so I don't know if they just run through a lot of applicants because of their job postings or because of high turnover, which some other reviews claim. I interviewed with someone else than the person I had the interview scheduled with and it turned out that they were running a next-in-line interviewer for the next-in-line applicant, so she didn't even see my resume or information until we sat down. The interview was short, less than 10 minutes, and the initial interview was to very briefly ask you a few questions and set up a 2nd interview later. How can they set up a 2nd interview if they don't even know if I'm a good fit after spending less than 10 minutes meeting with them? I spent a lot of time prepping for this interview, and it was a waste of time. They were rushing people in and out of there fast. What I found most disappointing is that the position I was applying for involved sales - which was not listed on the job description at all and I didn't find out until the end of my 7-minute interview. In fact, most of what the interviewer told me the job entailed was different than what the job ad said. Misleading at best.

Totally misleading. I was told through email this was a management position only to find out it was a sales job. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL SETTING. I walk into the office and hear MUSIC PUMPING. I mean Loud. If your a kid with no experience and no education this MIGHT be the right place for you. Torchmark has children running this place. Nothing but smug inexperienced kids. If you have any common sense. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The reviews of how they treat there costumers and employees says it all. STAY FAR AWY

I agree with previews posters. This is a scam to get people in for interviews. You will be told you are being pursued for a management role and asked to come in when all of the decision makers are in the office. It is essentially a cattle call for a telemarketing role to "build your own team" and become management once you bring in enough employees under you. They also blast music I imagine so you cant hear the interviews being conducted and that the role isnt as presented. Interview lasted about 2 minutes and I felt was a waste of my time.

Given what the role really is, are you still interested?

It was ridiculous. The process was to mislead people to get as many into the office as they could. I was told they were looking for managers, and when I arrived, a big sign outside the door was stating 10AM interviews. Obviously a scheduled appointment was not for me alone. Then I am told it is a customer service position, which I broke down clearly,,, it is telemarketing. It took me about 2 minutes to leave that office
