Panel members were genuinely interested in my experience and asked thoughtful questions. they provided timely updates after every round, which made the process stress-free. Transparency at every step, no surprises.

During the screening stage, we went through every line of my resume. Be prepared to answer questions about any item in your technical stack or any bullet point you included under your experience in a specific company. You should also be ready to answer basic career-focused questions such as what motivates you specifically about Globant, why you are considering a new role, etc. During the technical interview, the main challenge is that they ask literally everything. There were questions on Python, SQL, data modeling, infrastructure, orchestration, big data technologies from the 2010s that are still in use, the modern data stack, CI/CD practices, virtualization, DevOps, and so on. Essentially, anything that is even loosely related to data engineering may come up. Example of a Python task: list comprehensions — generating a list of squares of the first ten natural numbers. In general, Python questions were at this level: practical and straightforward, without LeetCode-style puzzles. Mostly short, hands-on tasks. We haven’t moved to the next stages yet. The interview was tiring, but overall positive. The Data Lead in Brazil came across as professional and empathetic.
