I interviewed for a role based in the Vermont location. The process included an initial conversation with a recruiter, followed by a discussion of my resume, etc., with the head engineer, and then an on-site interview. Overall, everyone I interacted with was very friendly and welcoming, and the interviews felt more conversational than formal, which I appreciated.
However, one aspect that stood out was that after completing the on-site interview—which required a significant time commitment—I was informed that they were still actively interviewing other candidates. While I understand this is part of the hiring process, it would have been helpful to have clearer expectations around the timeline and decision-making process earlier on. It was very shocking to hear that they were still interviewing other people during this final round.
