      Entretien

      I applied online and got an email asking availability for an interview from recruiter. The interview with the recruiter gave me a lot of red flags about the company . 1. The recruiter demanded I let him know my minimum salary and tried to negotiate with me for a lower minimum. He kept highlighting the companies benefits to get me to go lower on salary . Mind you this is the first initial interview!!. 2. He asked me multiple question on how to resolve the diversity issue in Tech. I understand the company wants to improve diversity , but these questions are far better off for a hr or hro candidate. 3. He gave me the wrong take home test and made me waste time on wrong assignment. Overall, All the mentioned red flags turned me off from considering this company.

      Several interviews across 4-5 weeks. You must sign an NDA about the process. Everyone I talked to was personable, technically knowledgeable and welcoming. I would have been very happy to work here but received another great offer before the last interview.

      Wow! My heart goes out to the folks who have applied for this role and have been ghosted. Especially during such a time when communication needs to be prioritized so folks can navigate their next steps. I too have been ghosted going on 3 weeks now after submitting the tech assessment. After having a lovely first encounter with the GH recruiter and hearing all about the wonderful benefits and other "fluffy" things they provide employees - you get all excited and want to give it your all to stand out. Truthfully, after reading several other interview reviews, I have been discouraged and have decided to move on to other companies that are transparent with their communication and expectations. It was told to me that the process takes two to four-ish weeks because of the extensive background check they have to do and other factors but if folks are lucky to even get an offer it may be after 2 months at this rate. It's just sad that a company that claims to celebrate prosperity, differences, culture, and more has this annoying flaw (maybe more in other areas) of ghosting candidates when we spend so much time and energy trying to get interviews. It's disrespectful and unfair to be left in the dark. My question to you is how would you feel if the tables were turned.

      Had one two-part interview with a recruiter and completed written evaluation. Interviewer was very friendly and easy to talk to, and asked relevant questions. The written evaluation was slightly time consuming, taking about 1 hour to complete.
