I was worried it would take weeks if not months from other reviews I have read online from but it was relatively quick, that is the saving grace. I didn't get past yjr Screening Exercise stage, my email responses were not good enough.
I wasn't given feedback but sent this email:
We do have a no feedback policy, but we did want to give you some insight into what we look for when reading over responses. There are four main criteria that we look at when reviewing the responses: written communication (including grammar and spelling), research and problem-solving abilities, and accuracy of responses. We don't expect a candidate to be an expert on GitHub, only to be able to access the information that is available online. I hope this helps to provide insight into our decision-making process.
Thank you again for your interest and your time. I am sorry things didn't work out this time, but I hope you remain enthusiastic about GitHub! I wish you all the best in your job search.
