I've applied to a few different positions over the past year. I have been interviewed for two different positions during that time. Both times I have made it through the phone screen and the first interview. The second position I was told "we would like you to come on site for a tour and interview". However, I never heard back and when I checked my job portal two months later, it showed that I was no longer under consideration for the role. The kicker is the role is still posted or was reposted.
In both cases I didn't receive any sort of email correspondence, letting me know they had gone with another applicant (i.e. they didn't send a "rejection" email).
I guess Georgia-Pacific sees no response as a response. Again, this happened twice where they just ghost me. Wouldn't doubt it if this is standard practice. Not reaching out to all applicants who applied is one thing, but once an interview is conducted and you talk to that person, please extend the courtesy of letting them know they didn't get the job, if you offer it to somebody else.

Interviewed with recruiter with 2 weeks after online submit. Went very well and was pushed to do a video call with the hiring manager but took a couple of weeks with horrible communication on their part. Interview also went well, and was asked to do an in person interview and tour. Once again to over a month to get ahold of them to reconnect. Went in for tour and interview with 3 sections and I felt it went very well, they were very receptive and provided great feedback. The hiring manager said I would be hearing from them and no communication now for 2 months. I have reached out to the recruiter and to the hiring manager both. Im a professional and of course I moved on, but the demeanor of the higher process managers was horrible.

After application, a video interview with answering question online.
Phone screening with recruiter after the application. Meet and Interview with manager on site along with the site visit lasting a day. Company pays for all visit.
fair they asked relevant questions for the role and i had a good time with the interviewer. Some behavioral questions and some technical questions but alot of resume questions. Would recommend
