I had an interview with the Flight Controls Production team that I thought went quite well. After the onsite, I waited a couple of weeks before sending a few follow-up emails. I was honestly expecting an offer but remained patient, understanding that the aerospace industry often moves slowly. However, it has now been nearly two months with no response.
While I can’t speak for other teams at General Atomics, and I’m still applying to several, I think it reflects poorly on the group when a candidate doesn’t even receive a courtesy rejection after a five-hour onsite interview. It comes across as unprofessional and disappointing for such a respected company.
