J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Genentech (South San Francisco, CA) en oct. 2014
Entretien
Very rigorous, involves the initial HR interview, then phone screening with hiring manager, and whole day onsite with 10+ stakeholders. Extremely important to have the right cultural fit. A lot of hiring is based on internal transfers so it's difficult to come in from outside, especially from non-biotech companies.

Question 1
Walk us through an emotionally charged situation that you and at least one critical stakeholder were involved in and that needed to be resolved to ensure business continuity.
What led to that situation? What was causing your counterpart's
emotions? What did you do to resolve it?
3 interviews, strung along for 6 weeks, no response. They kept calling me back for more interviews and did not end up giving me an offer and when I reached out for a status update I received no reply. Some transparency would have been nice.
