The first round was an introductory call about the familiarity with the technology stack which they are using (Debian Linux, firewalls, monitoring tools, programming and automation). The second round was organised by having an interaction with the team, discussing in detail my experience and how I fit in this role. They discussed their existing technology stack, and asked me how would I propose to optimise their operations, and introduce the new paradigm techniques trending in the IT industry. It was more like an open conversation, discussing the existing way of operations carried in the company, and ways to improve them. Future projects in the pipeline were also discussed.
