Smooth process and questions were applicable to daily tasks. The screenings were quick and response times fast. The hiring manager was clear when walking through role and responsibility descriptions, and thoughtful and respectful in listening to questions.

I went through 3 interview rounds for a senior role at Gap. The process started out organized, but communication broke down after my panel interviews. My final interview with the hiring manager was cancelled twice and never rescheduled. Despite following up several times, I received no clear answers, even after 3 weeks of waiting. The lack of transparency and respect for candidates’ time was disappointing, especially for a company of this size. The job posting was taken down today and I still have not heard from the recruiter. From the time of my initial recruiter call to my (scheduled, but cancelled twice) final interview with the hiring manager was 2 months.

Applied online. Recruiter contacted me within a couple of weeks to ask basic questions about my background and salary expectations. Had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Had an onsite interview a week after. Was told I would hear from them regarding next steps in a couple of weeks. 2 months later, and nothing. I reached out to the recruiter a couple of times, but never heard back from her. I have heard that this is normal. The Gap is known for their awful recruiting team.
