      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 4 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gallup en avr. 2011

      Entretien

I was given a link to the position through my university. I went to the Gallup website and applied for the job there. I believe the next step was taking a Strengths Finder test to determine if my skill set matched the requirements of the job. I then got a phone call a few weeks later asking if I could do a phone interview. The phone interview happened about 1 month after the initial application and the phone interview was recorded for analysis (I assume). I then waited another month and got a second phone interview and the questions were almost the same with a few new ones probably. I then heard back and was scheduled for a 3rd phone interview with the hiring manager and we had a quick conversation about what I currently do and how it would fit into the role. I had a 4th phone interview with the hiring manager and another manager to make sure my skills and attributes fit the position. After that phone interview someone called a few weeks later to schedule me to come into the office for a 1:1 interview. At the 1:1 interview I sat down and spoke with the hiring manager for about 30 minutes and then someone from the IT department showed me around the office and took me out to lunch. I believe it was only a couple days later that I heard back and was offered the position. I am not sure if the turnaround time between the 1:1 and the offer is as quick as mine was but I was glad that after a long and arduous interview process I got the job. Even though the process was long I believe it was key in finding the right person. I have worked here for a while now and I can see it is crucial to get the right person in the right job. The company invests heavily in the interviewing process because it wants to find the right candidate who will mesh well with the rest of the company and the department he/she works in.
