Applied for fresher role . Had been given home assignment to design dictionary using data structures.
They have asked to choose any programming language.
100+ final year students from our college had got the Assignment and 9 people got call for the Interview round.

Question 1
1. I had submitted the assignment in Java ( They had given choice to choose any programming language )
2. After a week got the mail for the Google Meet round.
3. During interview , the first 30 minutes were spent on just assignment , I got trapped at 2 / 3 places where the interviewer asked me what would be the complexity incase if edit distance is greater than 3. I took time to answer, got confused, then the interviewer explained line by line . I learnt new things here.
4. The interview gave me problem to choose efficient ds to group 10 power 50 data sets. It was so huge that I was struggling . Started with binary, but even at such a scale it would fail .
5. The interviewer asked me in case of finite data sets and the length of data set is 1-2Million, does it make sense to create separate nodes , where each node points to different base location in HEAP. I initially did not understood the problem ! But when he started explaining , i was totally impressed by the knowledge.
I liked their work and their style of interview . I wish i would have got offer from gtropy , alteast would have learnt a lot from them. My relative who are working in MNC , they also suggest to work for such companies for 2/3 years minimum. Thanks for the wonderful interview experience, I learnt a lot during the interview gtropy

My interview experience with GTROPY (MapmyIndia) was truly enlightening. From start to finish, the process was smooth, insightful, and conducted with the utmost professionalism.
What particularly stood out to me was the unique approach taken in the first round. Instead of traditional questioning, an assignment was given before interview rounds. This not only challenged me to think on my feet but also provided an opportunity to push the boundaries of my learning in a fast-paced environment. I found myself delving into new concepts, which ultimately enhanced my problem-solving skills and made me a more resourceful developer.
In the second round, my foundational knowledge of computer science was put to the test, allowing me to demonstrate my understanding of core principles and algorithms. This was followed by a round focusing on the specifics of my resume, where I had the chance to discuss my past experiences and projects in detail.
The final round was particularly enlightening. Not only were insightful questions posed, but they also delved deeper into my knowledge and understanding of the field. This round truly tested my ability to think critically and apply my expertise to real-world scenarios.
