Job posting said they were looking for veterans who had been in an E4 or higher position. I was an E6 when I was in the military and also owned my own business and had other management and supervisor experience. Interviewer was great and it lasted for about 30 minutes. She called back a few days later and said they are looking for veterans with extensive leadership experience. I was kind of floored that what GEICO is looking for is more in alignment with E8's and above but advertise much less experience. She did say they were interested in me for the normal management development program and to set up a new interview. This was pretty strange.
