J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez GEICO (San Diego, CA)

      Entretien

It comprised of 2 days. The first day was the computer assessment. It included typing to assess speed. The last part was a game of some sort it confused me in the beginning but Fortunately I was able to catch on. After you pass, they call schedule you to come back usually within 1-2 weeks for the in person interview. This literally took all day. First you do the test which is like a fake version of the job in a room with paperwork and someone pretends to be the customer in another room. If you pass this then you move onto shadowing someone who is already hired with Geico. After this, you have an in person interview with one of the managers. I was luckily told that o was hired the same day. Some people hear back within a week or so. Nonetheless make sure you have nothing to do that day nexus’s again it takes about 4-6 hours. For me all that time was worth it because I found out the same day.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez GEICO (Houston, TX) en mai 2025

      Entretien

It took 1 month all together from 4/16/25 to 5/13/25. Pretty lengthy process. Step 1: 30 min behavioral-situational based assessment. The type of assessment they had me take really didn't have much to do with the actual role which was a tad bit frustrating. Step 2: 30 minute interview. Be prepared to know your job history. The recruiter began by discussing the role, training expectations and she asked some behavioral questions. There are 2 role play scenarios. I know I did well in the interview, I was told by the recruiter she would endorse me to the hiring manager however on 5/13/25, I received a rejection letter 2 weeks after the interview (after being told it would take only 1-3 business days to hear back) which is disappointing considering I was qualified and I interviewed well.

      Questions d'entretien [6]

Scenario- As a metric/goal, you've had 8 out of 10 calls error free and the goal is to have 9 out of 10 calls error free. How would react to that situation?

      Question 4

How would you react to taking back to back calls? How often do you deal with unpleasant customers?
      1 réponse

      Question 5

1st role play scenario- customer is upset because their claim was delayed by a month. customer has been calling to check status of claim for a week. 2nd role play scenario- this was one was kind of unclear but it was something about an offer for Geico Express Services for a customer to get quotes for repairs, repairs done and a rental car in an all-in-one location, how would you communicate this offer availability to the customer?

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez GEICO

      Entretien

The interview process was extensive to the point of being ludicrous for what the role entails. Thankfully I did not move forward with this position and am now making about TWICE the annual salary I would have made at Geico for a far less stressful job. The most laughable thing about Geico is that they want you to have a bachelor's degree to earn the salary of a middle school dropout. Love yourself. Do not use your 4 year college education to make 22 dollars an hour. I have an associates and am doing far better. Also, hair follicle tests prior to employment? That's a bit much. What a ridiculously demanding company for a pittance of a salary. I strongly feel that this is where lost people go when they don't know what to do with themselves. Again. You can do better.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

I don't recall specific questions, but I do recall a ridiculously long "mock work" assessment over video chat with some recruiter watching my every move in silence. If this is how they expect people to excel, their work environment must be incredibly toxic.
