I filled out an online application, took a Calipher test and got an email telling me to go to their office. They wanted me to take tests there. I was placed in a waiting room with the other applicants. These applicants gossiped about the interview process and gave each other tips on how to pass all of the rounds. Yes, I said rounds (plural) as in...there are about 6 different steps in the interview process. You will be there for 2-4 hours. These rounds included taking a typing test, a multi-tasking test, speaking to someone in hr , role-playing and some other stuff that I didn’t catch amongst the gossip lol. Geico is so cocky, that they want you to spend 4 hours of our day doing all of this. Not only are they cocky, but they’re disorganized too. For instance, a Recruiter told me that I didn’t take the Calipher test, and that “I should have done it at home”. I told her I already took it. She told me to log into my account and eureka! My account verified that I already took the test. The lady look bewildered and then sent me to the next round. However, I knew that I did not get the job when I was sent home after speaking to HR. (This is only step 3 out of 6 in the process, remember?) The HR lady wouldn’t let me finish a sentence when she asked me questions. Extremely entitled. In short, They are looking for someone who is ambitious, but not TOO ambitious. All companies are. I mean, the Liability and Claims Examiner positions require someone with a Bachelors degree. Did anyone go to College to be a Claims Examiner? No! They want someone who went to college but did not get the job they went to school for. I refuse to give loyalty to a company that will make you jump through hoops for them, especially when they’d never do the same for me.
