Took 3+ months from the day the recruiter contacted me until an offer was extended. Barely enough to live decently in San Ramon and surrounding area. They refused to pay relocation/signing bonus, until I brought a counter offer. Travel reimbursement for the in-person interview has taken 7 weeks to be approved and mailed. Interview questions focused on Linux system administration, and some high-level descriptions of Hadoop's architecture.
