I had a mixed experience interviewing with GC AI. My initial conversation with the VP of Operations was thoughtful, engaging, and well-run. Following that, I was given a take-home assignment, which I completed thoroughly and received very positive feedback on.
However, the experience with the CTO was notably different. The interview started late, and the level of professionalism felt inconsistent with earlier stages. The setting and overall engagement made it difficult to have a productive conversation, and the questions themselves were somewhat vague and unfocused.
Given how strong the earlier stages were, the contrast was surprising. It left me uncertain about internal alignment and expectations across the leadership team.
