you usually are contacted by phone first then email to verify your interview and additional information they may request. the interview lasted about 30 mins and was asked questions relating to prior work experience and how it could benefit me in this job. after getting hired you attend a 3 day orientation to become a certified security officer.

Was called shortly after submitting the application online to set up an interview. Atmosphere at the home office was laid back and generally unprofessional.
The interview itself was basic, the interviewer asking vague pre-scripted questions such as "What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses?" etc. Interviewer consistently apologized for having to ask the what she called the 'stupid' questions that she 'was required to ask' during the interview, which I found to be a little strange.
Called to follow up more than a week after the interview, HR apologized for not having communicated and requested my return to the office to sign more paperwork. Job offer letter was provided upon getting there.
The most absurd aspect of the hiring process was that they had no uniforms on-hand that fit me and had to order them. This in itself is no entirely unexpected but I went nearly 1 month of working on-site before finally receiving my uniform. In that 1 month span of time I had to provide my own clothes closest to representing their current uniform, which for me was my own nice black suit (way better quality than the uniforms provided) which I had to risk damaging every day I was working because no substitute was offered by the company (All I got from the home office was an insincere apology from HR).
This aforementioned experience helped to set the precedent of how I would feel about the company and the job in the latter months to come.

None, unless you have difficulty answering questions like: "What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? What experience do you bring to the table?" and so forth.

It was a 3rd party interview with the managing agent. Easy interview wasn't a pleasant or professional experience. I waited over 45 minutes to be seen. I described what experience I had and what I could offer as a future employee. I was offered a schedule which I felt like they were pushing to cover the midnight shift only
I declined and they miraculously found me a position that I could work with. I felt like they were scamming me into employment.
