After applying, I got a response and invitation for an interview with their recruitment consultant very quickly. The interview with the consultant actually went incredibly well, they seemed to like me and seemed interested in passing me through to the next stage. I even stated I was willing to relocate half way across the country for the position as I was really eager to make a start in the gaming industry. The interviewer even told me what the next two stages would be which would be a technical interview with what would be your manager and then a final interview with someone else. The interviewer was even bad mouthing a previous interviewee they had before me that day which was pretty unprofessional. I felt super confident about the interview and he said that he would write his notes up and then pass my information on to the QA manager who would then hopefully reach out to me for an interview. I waited almost a week and heard absolutely nothing so I decided to email to try and find out if I was still in the running for the position. I didn't even receive an email from the consultant themselves but just a generic one from their team. I was absolutely heartbroken as I felt the first interview went well. Would not recommend applying if you have little experience. Seems they are not willing to give people a chance. I didn't even get a chance to show off my technical skills either.
