During that short time, the interviewer repeatedly stated they were “not here to waste time” and that they “wouldn’t waste time,” which set an unwelcoming tone. I was also told that all answers would be evaluated by AI—again, to avoid “wasting time.” Hiring someone should be treated as a strategic and important decision, but unfortunately, that was not the impression given in this case. The process came across as rushed and lacking relevance or thoughtful consideration.

He started off by asking what I knew about the role and the company, then interrupted me mid-answer and said, “Let me stop you there. You don’t know enough about the company. This part is 30% of your score, so I’m going to end the interview here.” The process felt sad, robotic, and dismissive. There was no opportunity for dialogue or connection—it didn’t resemble a real interview. If FullFunnel sees this as a best-practice hiring approach, it raises serious questions about how they value people and culture.
