You will be interviewed by a panel of people via Zoom. Each person will ask you questions about your interest in Laos and your plans for your time there. It is important to be able to articulate why you chose Laos specifically and what you hope to achieve during your time there. Be prepared to answer questions about your cultural sensitivity and your ability to deal with challenges in Laos. The interviewers will want to make sure that you are prepared to work through any challenges that may arise, especially health concerns, as Laos does not have the best healthcare system.

It is a very long and lengthy process, especially if you go for an endorsement from your school. Know your why, know your country and know the exact reasons why you are qualified. Be authentic in your answers. Fulbright looks for people that are very dedicated to the work they are doing.
