I privately pitched the company's CEO to work closely with her and got an prompt reply where we set up an interview call with her & another CXO.
The call was just me fleshing out my academic and professional experience. It covered why I mostly did internships in lieu of sticking to long-term, full-time roles. My experience with the different companies as well as what a perfect role to me will look like to me.
Overall, it was a pleasant and extremely straight forward adiscussion. The CEO told me about their own professional experience, the company's mission/vision, current initiatives and what kind of role will be suitable to me and where I might need grooming.
Post-call I was asked to forward them my writing/deck portfolio to judge my technical skills, two professional references and a few documents.
I received my offer letter within a week.
