Received written contract the next 1,2 days and I email them to negotiate salary (request 6% increase) and other questions to clarify job duties and some contract clauses. (you are hiring a lawyer and do you expect them not to read and negotiate the contract before signing it? What kind of service do you expect from me if I don't even take my own employment offer seriously?) Anyway, radio silence for 2 business days yet they want me to start in 2 weeks. When I follow up on the 3rd day morning, they say they have already hired someone else.
