2 rounds of interview, first was SQL, Python, Basic ML and Stats all very easy. second was a case study around marketing analytics, not too complicated but still tripped me up.

I have appeared for the Fractal Python + SQL test thrice in the month of July, 2021. For the first time when I appeared for the test, I passed out all the test cases of all questions ( 4 Python + 4 SQL ). And, for the second and third time I passed all the test cases for 6/8 questions (4 Python + 2 SQL ). I reverted back to the email and POC, I didn’t receive any response. I tried connecting with the POC on LinkedIn and she told me I’ve passed the test but keeps on delaying the further process by saying they do not have interview dates available. She firmly asked me to go on with other applications and she’d ask me in future if they get interview dates. I don’t know if this is some kind of joke or something. Ahe thinks we are free enough to just appear for the test and then go on with other applications. I didn’t expect this from Fractal at all. I was so excited to proceed with them but now after seeing this behaviour from their recruiting members, I got the idea of company culture.
