I had some interviews pretty quickly back to back to back. Initial HR, two SME interviews. Event had a call with the hiring manager. Then the process when completely quiet. I made a point to check in once a week. While this was during the summer with vacations, there was pretty much no response with any meat to it. Ultimately was told I didn't have enough AI experience (which was not initially discussed in the JD or interviews) so that must have been something that popped up in the needs when things went dark. Frustrating because that could have been brought up and discussed further, but it is what it is I guess. The HR rep I worked with wanted to mainly communicate off text message, which I don't prefer - it should be email in the hiring stage for formality and documentation's sake.
