The interview process is a joke. Applied weeks ago and got an email this morning around 1030 am from the hiring executive that he happened to be in town today and was doing interviews until 6pm. Awfully short noticed. I called the number that he gave me to call to the Oxford Valley location and the phone was answered by a store employee named sherry. I told her that I was told to call this person named Justin to set up the interview. She refused to allow me to speak to him eventhough he told me to speak to him. I let her know that unfortunately I can’t call out of my job to do a same day interview and was looking to speak to him to set something else up. She informed me that she is the one scheduling and that I couldn’t make it there before 6 then I was no longer considered for the position as he flew in for the day to do interviews and nobody else was allowed to do hiring. When I explained to her that didn’t seem correct I was hung up on…. Very professional. Seems like shotty recruiting practices especially if you are looking for currently employed professionals to run your business. No wonder why they are still looking weeks later.
