I would like to share a brief overview of how this process developed on my side.
It initially started through an informal conversation with Juliana Valim, which was soon followed by another very smooth and constructive conversation with Denis Albuquerque. Both exchanges were marked by mutual interest in exploring a potential transition.
Shortly after, the formal process began with Yamid Cala, when we had a meeting to assess whether my profile aligned with the position and the moment in my career. As part of the next steps, I delivered a technical presentation on SD-WAN to Juliana and Denis, who role-played as executives, to evaluate my communication and technical skills.
Additionally, I dedicated time to study, take, and successfully pass the Fortinet Core Certification exam (FCP/NSE4), which was a key part of the process.
Following these steps, I received an informal offer letter, which I gladly accepted. Subsequently, I submitted a series of documents to HireRight, as guided by Fortinet, and then received the official offer letter.
I would also like to emphasize that throughout the entire journey, Yamid provided continuous support, answering all my questions and playing a fundamental role in this transition.
