Entretien
Interviewed via Google Meet. Role was for supporting the COO and reporting to the new Director of People. Recruiter was nice but she seemed aloof most of the call. She seemed very distracted by someone or something in the office. She constantly kept looking to her right and upward and making slight but weird faces. Not sure if someone was waiting to use that room for their upcoming call or she was just distracted by something else. Overall the role doesn't seem to be fully flushed out. Recruiter shared that there are 2 EAs at the company, 1 in EMEA and 1 in the US and she doesn't know how/if they communicate. Also, the role was posted for NYC, ATX, and SF, I don't think they truly know where they want this person to be located. Recruiter also shared there's no set in-office guidance so it sounds like there's no structure and teams just do what feels good. She seemed a bit junior as another interviewer shared in their feedback, didn't know much about the offices and where the office is located in Austin. Recruiter didn't discuss salary.

30 minute interviews where every second is spent grilling you with 30 secs or less at the end for you to ask questions. Not great for getting a true read on leadership.
