Entretien
I was contacted by a recruiter for the position of director of engineering. After multiple reschedules, the first call with hiring manager happened after a month! He was a pleasant chap and we talked about our experiences. Then the process went into high gear and interviews were scheduled pretty aggressively over multiple face-to-face rounds. First round had 3 interviews and both technical design and managerial aspects were covered. Later recruited informed that all was good and another round was scheduled a couple of days later. There were 4 interviews and all of them went good. Later recruiter confirmed that and said that an offer would be rolled out in couple of days but there needs to be another meeting with senior leadership where the expectation was set that it was not interviews but just an informal meeting. It was a great meeting where I met with 3 senior folks. Next day recruiter called me and said that everything is looking good and how soon I can join blah blah. Overall I was satisfied with the quality of interviewers who were very knowledgeable and respectful.
And then there was silence for 2 weeks. Then I got a call from recruiter saying that there were certain gaps in leadership and hiring manager would explain what they were. What? When did this u-turn happen? Just a couple of weeks back all looked good and were talking about how soon i can join. I met the hiring manager again where he again went all over again into my current job details and was apologetic about the recruitment team having set wrong expectations earlier and he would fix the process. Phew! But I think a decision had been already made and finally things didn't materialize. All I can say is that the reasons given seemed very vague and flimsy and to me it looked like they had another backup whom they hired instead. Anyway, good luck to them!

Mostly behavioural and background/experience oriented. There was a technical depth round that lacked technical depth of any sort and felt amateurish. The interviewer was not sure what he was looking for and came in unprepared. Senior leadership and HR were polite, courteous and transparent.

2 phone and 4 in person interviews consisted of technical and behavioral question. There was one coding round and 2 ml round. The process took 6 weeks from initial contact.
