Met with recruiter for a role in a subsidiary company for an initial phone screening who proceeded to completely ghost for an entire month. Recruiter reached out and did not acknowledge the gap in time as if nothing happened before indicating they were looking to fill the role as soon as possible. I'm assuming all of their other candidates fell through or this was simply a ghost job to meet productivity metrics. Recruiter requested to schedule a call with the hiring manager then proceeded to have delayed responses greater than 24 hours. Their excuse for no showing the selected time for the follow-up interview was due to inclement weather when no storm was physically present on the forecast for that day in their area. I decided to rescind my application and would highly recommend applying elsewhere as I can only imagine how much worse it would get at this company once you are on their payroll.

I had the exact same (awful) experience as the candidate below me. Zero follow-up from the interviewers. The lead interviewer went on a week long vacation, a week after our interview, and gave no follow-up or heads-up about the delay or when I could expect an update. When I repeatedly asked for an update, I was ignored. When I asked for a final update and made it clear it would be my last time reaching out, I was told my email was "not appropriate". I WITHDREW my application on the spot. The job is not even with Flexjet, it is with its "sister company" Tuvoli, which has like 3 employees total -- this was NOT clear in the job description and I would have never applied if I had known this was the case. Oh and by the way, this job expects you to work weekends (a total of 56 hours weekly) with NO OVERTIME PAY. Save yourself the trouble and withdraw now before it gets worse.

During the third round of interviews, the interviewer surprised me by asking about my personal journey rather than my professional one ( I tried to move it back to professional, and he corrected me). I was taken aback and wasn't sure what to share—should I talk about my little league baseball days or the crush I had in 8th grade? It caught me off guard, and I still feel like it was an unprofessional question to ask in a job interview.
