They asked me to do a take-home assessment before any sort of call or interview. I submitted it and over 3 weeks later they told me that they were already completing the hiring process with another candidate when I had submitted my assignment. This would have been good to know before I sank my time and energy into that useless assignment. I guess that's just how they do business.

I was sent a test contract to review and asked to provide feedback regarding errors along with questions regarding how revenue should be recognized. No specific format was requested. I sent my responses back and a few days later received a rejection stating that I would not be told why to protect the integrity of the test for anyone else who would take it.
