Applled online and after having a referral from a mentor.
Recruiter reached out to schedule first round.
And then I was reject by a different recruiter/person from the team. Not sure what happened cuz I solved the problem and had positive vibes with interviewer

T-9 Calculator I think it's called.
* Given an old school phone keyboard, a phone number and a list of possible valid words. Write a program that predict which the rest of the sentence as the user enters more digits.
(You have to imagine how they keyboard had multiple letters attached to each number and stuff like that).

I received an online assessment in the form of a hackerrank with 2 questions to complete in the span of 120 minutes. Both my solutions really only passed the base cases, but it was enough to make it through to the technical screen. During the technical screen, I was give around 45 min to solve a LC medium question, then 10 minutes for questions. In the last 5 minutes, my interviewer discussed next steps as being an onsite interview so I figured I had made it to the round. A couple days later, I received a rejection email...

Invitation to a technical interview with Karat received a few days after submitting my application.
The interview was smooth and my proctor was very professional. Leetcode style question, not too difficult.
