I had an initial phone screen. When it was decided they wanted to move me forward in the process I had a preparatory phone call prior to 4 hours worth of video calls with team members. Overall, the team members I met with were very nice and they all seemed to have good rapport with one another. I would say that 4 hours of interviews is quite a long time to be meeting with team members - though it was nice that they built in short breaks.
I usually expect to be asked my expectations on a base salary and that never came up. I just wonder, what if a candidate gets to final stages, only to find out that compensation is not at all in line with what the company wants to pay? Maybe they are very flexible on what they can pay and I'm thinking about it too much but that's a bit different from what I've experienced in the past.
