They were opening in new store in Virginia Beach, VA. It was open interviews, as by you go in and fill out an application followed by a on the spot interview. He greeted me as I walked in saying "How are you today?" I smiled and said "Great! You?" Other than that the interview was pretty easy. Just general questions about you and what you know about Five Guys. He told me he will get his manager to call me within the next 2 days. His manager called me the next day around 7:00PM, offering me the job and that orientation was on September 5, 2013. So I guess I start on that day.

Trial shift for 2 hours. Shown around various parts of resturant. Shown how to clean the resturant and how to make the food, focusing on preparing and dressing the burgers.
Interviewer asked me basic questions about myself. She then talked about her experience working in the industry. The interview lasted about 15 minutes and was easy. Basically a get to know you type of interview.
A telephone call- asking if you handle pressure well and an example. Then asks the previous skills you bring from ur previous job, and what makes you stand out. Then an inperson interview with one question about customer service, and a 30 minute ‘day in the life’ where u cut some peppers and jalapenos
